I picked up some R+A custom Baits Bloodline Swimbaits for my upcoming trip to Mexico. A top producer down there at Lake Baccarac is the Alabama (umbrella) rig. Another little known secret is that a little bit of chartreuse goes a long way down there. That being said, as I was scrolling down furiously on my Instagram app, I came across these sick looking paddle tail swimbaits made by R+A Custom Baits, and I had to get them.
R+A Custom Baits 5″Blood Lines Blue Shad
I ordered these 5″ Blood Lines in the Blue Shad color with a chartreuse lateral line. Hopefully, rigged up to a Tater Baits umbrella Rig with some 1/16 ounce jig heads, these will be the killer combo that finally gets me my double-digit bass that I’m after. Wish me luck! Just look at them, are they not sick looking? I do plan on fishing them on the A-rig, and I also plan on fishing them on Owner Flashy swimmers as well. Those flashy swimmers helped me get many 6-7 pounders last year in Mexico. Crazy!
You boys like Mexico?
Yes, without question. The most enjoyable fishing trip I have ever taken. That being said, you don’t need these baits for Mexico, you need these baits while fishing your favorite waters. I bet these will produce in any body of water you throw them in.
If you are interested in getting some of these baits in this color, or any custom color, reach out to Reese on Instagram or Facebook. If you’re not into the whole Social Media thing, send him an email at [email protected]. He will take care of anything you might need.
They do make more than just swimbaits, which is scary for my wallet because now I have to order some 6-inch sticks for my trip down to Lake Baccarac.
