Megabass Vision 110 R+3

I had no idea that there was such a thing as a Megabass Vision 110 R+3. My awesome wife surprised me with two of them. She knew I was on the hunt for another Megabass Vision 110 R+2 for my trip to Mexico, but this is just plain awesome. Does anyone else have this lure?

What’s going on over here? The packaging says that this lure will dive max to 4.0 meters. That’s roughly 13 feet. The R stands for Rattle, and sure enough, playing with the lure, there’s a rattle inside. I need to be a little careful because these hooks are really sharp as I learned that the hard way. Better to bleed here at my desk than on the water I guess. Ouch!

The lip on the R+3 is way bigger than what comes on the Megabass Vision 110 +2, but they both weigh 1/2 oz. You figure with a lip this size we should be able to get it down around the 20-foot mark, no?

Becky said she picked these up on eBay for roughly $23 each which made me skeptical if they were real or not. Nonetheless, they are here, and I will use them at Lake Baccarac. Like I said in my previous article, the Megbass Vision 110 +2 is a secret producer down there which I heard straight from a knowledgeable source. I think adding a little more depth and a rattle will be fire!  I see 10+ pounder in my future. What do you think of this lure? Do you see one in your future?
