I picked up a couple of the Line Cutterz Dual Hybrid Micro Scissors once I found out as I needed a replacement for my Boomerang Snips. I was a big fan of the snips, but after a while, they stopped cutting my braid cleanly and the blades started to rust. It became a struggle to cut the braid and they would fray the line. Honestly, for the price of the snips you can’t complain, but once I saw the Line Cutterz Dual Hybrid Micro Scissors, I wanted to try them.
Dual Hybrid Micro Scissors
I’ve decided to do a long-term review on the Line Cutterz Dual Hybrid Micro Scissors, but I won’t be the one doing it. I am going to gift one of these to the best guide, and my friend Felix Perez Castro. Felix guides on Lake Baccarac in Mexico. If you don’t know anything about Lake Baccarac, start by reading my adventures on the Lake here and here. If there’s someone who will put these to the test it will be Felix, I GUARANTEE it. Every time I’ve gone to Lake Baccarac he’s had to retie my screwups at least a dozen times per day, no joke.

I stole the above blurb right from the Line Cutterz website. No need to reinvent the wheel here. They did a fantastic job of describing their scissors.
The Dual Hybrid Micro scissors are small, comparable in size to the Snips. What these have over the Snips is the ability to put them on a lanyard, a retractor, or the best yet? On the brim of your lucky fishing hat.
I love supporting small companies, especially ones that are passionate about what they produce and sell. Line Cutterz is one of those companies. I will report back to let you know how the scissors are working out after day-to-day work over a long period of time.
