Awesome video from youtuber FIREANT FISHING showing his completed project taking his boat from a Jon boat to a bass boat. This is worth the 8 minute watch if you are thinking of doing a project on your boat. All that boat is missing is a TinBoats decal and 36″ ruler for measuring his fish! If he was a member of our forum, I would send them to him. 😉 Check out the… ...Read More

I know it’s not a Tin boat, but this is awesome. Building a Cedar Strip Canoe takes some skill for sure. The end result is a bad ass canoe. I would love to have one of these canoes because it reminds me of Northern Maine and the loons on quiet mornings. Take a few minutes to check it out.

A cooler or Rubbermaid container can accommodate the requirements with added aeration – this Livewell mod takes it a step farther.… ...Read More
TinBoats.net member Victor Coar decided it was time to modify his plain old Ryan Craft V-boat into a lean mean fishing machine. The satisfaction of completing a project like this is incredible. By taking on a project like this you learn a few things on the Way. Victor will be the first to tell you what paint not to use when painting a boat. Undertaking a project like… ...Read More
Installing boat carpet is fairly simple when you take the time to prepare. For this boat carpeting project or any boat with multiple cuts involved, I highly recommend doing the carpet in sections. It makes it a lot easier to cut and place the different sections where you want them, instead of wrestling a huge piece that may be end-up out of whack at the other end.… ...Read More
