What was I thinking buying this Jackall Chop Cut Prop Bait? Talk about catching a sucker, I fell for it. This is the dumbest lure purchase I have ever made. I am never going to throw this bait, ever. The Jackall Chop Cut looks like a lure that would work, but the reality is, it looks like its flimsy made. I don’t see this lure lasting more than a few good fish before it’s completely destroyed, never mind bouncing it off a rock, or God forbid you launch it into a tree. It would be a tangled mess. Why am I talking about this lure now? I just found it while cleaning my garage. Once I discovered this hidden gem in one of my totes, I realized I pissed away another $17.
Jackall Chop Cut Prop Bait
I have a strict policy that I have been adhering to, and that is I refuse to spend more than $20 on a fishing lure. I don’t give a crap how good it is and what a fish catcher it is, for me it’s just a waste of money. The best fisherman I know, catch big fish consistently on baits that cost less than $10. Does a jig & pig come to mind? You can spend what you want, not me, the buck stops at $20 for me. When it comes to the Jackall Chop Cut Prop Bait I regret spending the $16.99 I did on it. I’m never going to use this lure, this is fact. Jackall sells this lure with a sexy marketing video that you can check out below. The next world record is yours!
Jackall really goes over the top trying to sell you on this revolutionary unique propeller. Honestly, this is one of the flimsiest props I have ever seen. The prop is easily bendable and I bet after a couple of bend-backs, this lure is ruined. Also, this lure must be a cluster to cast, and I couldn’t even imagine if this thing gets tangled up.
Final Thoughts
Jackall sold me, I scored one. I’m such a sucker for this stuff. If you’re reading this, you probably are too, and that’s ok. My search on Youtube to find massive topwater blowups on this lure didn’t get me anywhere. It’s not like the lure is new, its been out since at least 2018. Have any of you purchased this lure?
