I think I have finally found the perfect worm organizer. I ran across the Flambeau Super Half Satchel Soft Bait Organizer on a quest one night. Quest you ask? Yes, many years of disorganization and frustration of never finding the bait when I needed it, had to come to an end. I was on the hunt for something, but I had no idea what I was looking for. Did I want a tackle box? Maybe I wanted a worm binder? Or was I just looking for a plain utility box? Nothing was catching my eye until I saw the Flambeau Super Half Satchel Soft Bait Organizer.
Flambeau Super Half Satchel – 4510
The below specs are pulled directly from the Flambeau website. There is nothing really more to this than what you see here. I agree and can attest to all the points stated below, and I’m happy that Mike “IKE” approves. I’m not sure about the Zerust anti-corrosion sell, but Flambeau does have a page dedicated to Zerust here. It sounds good to me, but I will let you know at the end of the season if I see rusty hooks and weights.

Final Thoughts
I purchased the Flambeau Super Half Satchel Soft Bait Organizer on Amazon for under $13. The satchel did come with 3 Zerust dividers that are removable. The fit and finish of the organizer is nice and I like that by design it is water resistant. I will say the cover is a little flimsy but I don’t expect any issues with it as it will sit in the storage area of my boat. What I really like about the satchel is that I can store about 20 bags of soft plastics in their original packaging. The beauty of this is that I can quickly identify who the manufacturer is. I am done with putting worms in a utility box and then never being able to identify who made the bait. Doesn’t that sound familiar? I plan on buying a few more of these to further divide my plastics by type like stick baits, worms, Craws, etc.
What do you do for soft bait storage?
