I was attending The New England Fishing and Outdoor Expo show, when I stopped at the Hank’s Marine booth to drool over the Lund Renegade they brought to the show. I spoke with Matt Shogren of Hank’s Marine in great detail over this boat and to say I was impressed is an understatement. If you don’t think about Lund when talking about aluminum boats, you have not been in this game long enough. Lund is Legendary in the world of aluminum boats because they build one of the best boats out there period. You can’t argue that fact.
Lund Renegade
The Lund Renegade is a MOD V fishing boat that is available in two models, the 1775 and 1875. The model number is an indicator of length, 17′ and 18′ respectively. The boats themselves have a super stable 95″ beam width and can be configured for Bass or crappie fishing. The crappie option contains a bow livewell and multiple bow seat bases. The 1775 has a max hp of 90, and the 1875 has a max of 115. Lund gives you the option of choosing between a Mercury or a Honda outboard. In my opinion, all manufacturers should offer more than one option for outboards.
Final Thoughts
I loved the fit and finish of the Lund Renegade 1775. Lund is synonymous with quality so do yourself the favor and check out Lund boats if you are in the market for a feature-packed high-quality fishing machine.
Take a drive out to Hank’s Marine, talk to Matt, and check out the Lund Renegade they have in stock. If you are interested in a PRO-V style Lund, they also have some Rebels and Furys in stock. Spring is around the corner, check them out now before they are all gone.

How much for that boat?

I’m not sure to be honest. Give Matt a call and he will give you all the details. If you buy it, you better take me fishing at least once.

A product review without even a price range? Any performance numbers from the manufacturer?

Hi,
Not really a review, more of a “hey take a look”. I will see if I can find that info for you and get it back to you. I would love to get my hands on this boat for a real hands on review.
