I was doing some research to see what was available for shallow water anchoring when I ran across the Power-Pole Micro Anchor. What caught my eye right away was the low price of $595. This price is not cheap, but out of what is available out there, it looks like it’s half the price of its competitor. Because I’m not here to reinvent the wheel I literally copied the info right from Power-Poles site.

Jims Thoughts
Not having to deal with rope and messy anchors is huge. Having this light system work if you mostly fish shallow waters (like me) is a plus.
What I don’t like and would like to find out from JL Marine is why they do not include the spike with the Anchor mount? The spike costs another $100 bucks. So out the door you looking at around $700. Thoughts?
